ST PETER'S MEAD
Sutton Valence is an attractive and historic village in the Weald of Kent located in close proximity to Maidstone. With its pretty architecture, history that dates back to Saxon times and convenient connections, it is easy to see what makes the village so popular.
The picturesque village centre is lined with traditional Kentish properties and weaver’s cottages and includes a range of local services including garage, farm shop with post office and historic village inns along with the parish church of St Mary the Virgin and Sutton Valence Castle (English Heritage).
A range of schools in the area catering for children of all ages include the village primary school plus the highly regarded Sutton Valence Schools, numerous secondary and grammar schools at Maidstone plus Dulwich Preparatory School at Cranbrook, Saint Ronan’s and Marlborough House at Hawkhurst.
There are excellent road and rail networks to hand. Nearby Headcorn and Staplehurst Stations provide services to London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross with journey times from under an hour. The M20 gives access to the ports and to the M25 for Gatwick and Heathrow Airports.
